Berdasarkan hasil hisab hakik wujudul hilal , PP Muhammadiyah telah menetapkan awal puasa
Ramadhan 1437 Hijriah (H) jatuh pada hari Senin, 6 Juni 2016 Masehi
(M). Sedangkan 1 Syawal 1434 H jatuh pada Rabu, 6 Juli 2016 M. Dan 1
Zulhijah 1437 H jatuh pada Sabtu, 3 September 2016 M.
Ketetapan
tersebut disampaikan langsung oleh Ketua PP Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir
di Kantor PP Muhammadiyah, Yogyakarta, Senin (18/4/2016).”Karena itu
saya berharap masyarakat bisa meningkatkan nilai keIslaman memasuki
ramadhan tahun ini,” ujar Haedar, sebagaimana dilansir republika.co.id
Menurut
dia, Ramadhan menjadi momentum untuk terus meningkatkan diri dalam
beribadah dan hubungan sosial dengan sesama masyarakat.

Majelis Tarjih dan Tajdid PP Muhammadiyah, Oman Faturrahman
menjelaskan, ijtimak jelang Ramadhan 1437 H terjadi pada Ahad Legi, 5
Juni 2016 Masehi pukul 10:01:51 WIB. Tinggi bulan pada saat terbenam
Matahari di Yogyakarta dan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia pada saat
terbenam Matahari itu bulan berada di atas ufuk. “Karenanya 1 Ramadhan
di tetapkan jatuh pada hari Senin, 6 Juni 2016,” katanya.
Ijtimak
jelang Syawal 1437 H terjadi pada Senin, 4 Juli 2016 pukul 18:03:20
WIB. Tinggi bulan pada saat terbenam matahari di Yogyakarta dan seluruh
wilayah Indonesia pada saat terbenam matahari itu bukan berada di bawah
ufuk. 1 Syawal di tetapkan jatuh pada Rabu, 6 Juli 2016.
Sedangkan
ijtimak jelang Zulhijah 1437 H terjadi ada Kamis, 1 September 2016
pukul 16:05:40 WIB. Tinggi bulan pada saat terbenam matahari di
Yogyakarta dan seluruh wilayah Indonesia pada saat terbenam matahari itu
bulan berada d bawah ufuk. 1 Zulhijah ditetapkan jatuh pada Sabtu, 3
September 2016. Sedangkan hai Arafah (9 Zulhijah) jatuh pada Ahad, 11
September 2016 dan Idul Adha (10 Zulhijah) jatuh pada Senin, 12
September 2016.
Ketua
PP Muhammadiyah, Yunahar Ilyas mengatakan, kemungkinan awal puasa dan 1
syawal di Indonesia akan bersamaan. “InsyaAlloh dengan melihat hasil
hisab ini kemungkinan tidak akan ada perbedaan awal puasa dan syawal di
Indonesia,” katanya.
Pada penetapan ramadhan 1436 H, tidak ada perbedaan antara pemerintah dengan ormas-ormas islam.
Keputusan
awal Ramadhan tersebut diambil setelah Tim Hisab Rukyat Kementerian
Agama sepakat bahwa ijtima’ menjelang awal Ramadhan terjadi pada Selasa
tanggal 16 Juni 2015 sekitar pukul 21:05 WIB, bertepatan dengan tanggal
29 Sya’ban 1436 H. Sedangkan posisi hilal setelah terbenam matahari di
seluruh Indonesia pada hari tersebut berada pada ketinggian antara minus
3 derajat 43 menit sampai dengan minus 1 derajat 47 menit. Data ini
juga diperkuat oleh laporan dari 35 titik pengamatan hilal di seluruh
Indonesia yang telah melaporkan seluruhnya tidak melihat hilal.
“Dengan demikian kita bersepakat bahwa 1 Ramadhan 1436 bertepatan pada Kamis, 18 Juni 2015 Mendatang” tegas Menag, dalam laman kemenag.go.id
Sidang
Itsbat Penetapan Awal Ramadhan 1436 H digelar tertutup untuk umum,
pelaksanaan Sidang Itsbat berlangsung sangat singkat karena tidak ada
perbedaan antara data hisab wujudul hilal dengan rukyatul hilal. Hasil
Ketetapan Sidang Itsbat disampaikan oleh Menteri Agama dalam Konferensi
Pers bersama Ketua Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI),
Din Syamsuddin di lobby Gedung Kementerian Agama.
