Praktik
shalat tarawih super kilat yang dilaksanakan oleh salah satu pondok
pesantren di Kabupaten Blitar, Jawa Timur yang ramai diberitakan media
mengundang keprihatinan kita. Pasalnya, praktik tersebut justru
mengabaikan substansi dari tarawih itu sendiri.
Secara
bahasa, kata "tarawih" merupakan bentuk plural (jamak) dari kata
"tarwihah". Artinya, "istirahat". Dalam praktik yang dicontohkan oleh salafus shalih
(generasi terdahulu umat Islam), para jamaah mengambil jeda/istirahat
setiap empat rakaat (dua kali salam). Waktu jeda tersebut diambil
setelah mereka melakukan shalat yang cukup panjang dalam empat rakaat
tersebut.
Jeda tersebut diisi dengan beragam
kegiatan, seperti shalat dan membaca al-Quran, setelah para jamaah
melaksanakan shalat dengan durasi yang cukup panjang. Demikianlah
tradisi Qiyamul Lail yang dipraktikkan Nabi dan para sahabat.
Tujuan shalat, adalah untuk mengingat Alloh Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Sebagaimana firman-Nya:
(وَأَقِمِ الصَّلٰوةَ لِذِكْرِي (طه 14
"Dan dirikanlah shalat untuk mengingat-Ku." (QS. Thaha: 14)
Karena
itu, shalat yang baik seharusnya tidak menghilangkan tuma'ninah dalam
setiap gerakannya. Tidak tergesa-gesa, apalagi dilakukan dengan "gerakan
superkilat".
قال صلى الله عليه وسلم:
إنّمَاالصَّلَاةُ تَمَسْكُنٌ وَتَوَاضُعٌ وَتَضَرُّعٌ وتأوه وتنادم
وَتَضَعُ يَدَيْكَ تَقُولُ اللَّهُم، اللهم. فمن لم يفعل فهي خداج. (أخرجه
الترمذى والنسائى من حديث الفضل بن عباس
“Shalat
itu haruslah engkau (dalam keadaan) tenang, merendahkan diri,
mendekatkan diri, meratap, menyesali dosa-dosa, dan engkau letakkan
kedua tanganmu lalu kau ucapkan 'Wahai Allah, Wahai Allah'. Barang siapa
yang tidak melalukan (hal itu), maka shalatnya itu kurang.” (Hadits
dikeluarkan oleh At-Tirmidzi dan An-Nasâ'i dari Al-Fadl bin Abbas)
Catatan:
Kalimat "وتضع يديك" dalam hadits di atas dalam riwayat lain berbunyi
"وتمد يديك" (artinya: menengadahkan kedua tanganmu).
Dalam sebuah hadits lain juga diriwayatkan:
عن
يحي بن ابى قتادة عن أبيه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "إذا
أقيمت الصلاة فلا تقوموا حتى ترونى, وعليكم بالسكينة." (متفق عليه)
Artinya:
"Jika shalat akan didirikan, janganlah kalian berdiri hingga melihatku.
Dan hendaklah kalian melaksanakan shalat dengan tenang." (Muttafaq
Alaih)
Nah, jika kita lihat rekaman video tarawih superkilat yang beredar, tampak bahwa tidak ada ketenangan (tuma'ninah) sama sekali. Itu jauh dari tarawih secara definisi.
Mereka salah memahami kitab rujukannya. Memang, tuma'ninah dalam i'tidal dan duduk di antara dua sujud (julûs bayna sajdatain)
terdapat perbedaan pendapat di dalam Madzhab Syafii. Tapi tuma'ninah
dalam ruku' dan sujud, ulama Syafi'iyah sepakat bahwa itu merupakan
rukun yang bersifat wajib, baik dalam shalat fardlu maupun shalat
sunnah. Apalagi ini adalah shalat tarawih yang makna dasarnya adalah
istirahat. Jadi, menurut fiqih Syafi'iyah, hal itu tidak dibenarkan
karena tanpa tuma'ninah dan menghilangkan makna tarawih.
Mengingat
praktik tersebut sudah menjadi perbincangan yang cukup mengganggu
(terutama di dunia maya), sebaiknya segera ada pendekatan dari PWNU
Jatim kepada pengasuh pondok pesantren tersebut. Banyaknya jamaah
shalat memang bagus. Namun, bila sampai merusak nilai shalat, jadinya ya
tidak bagus.
Tarawih dalam Ramadlan adalah
anugerah Allah sebagai kesempatan kita ber-munajat, berlama-lama
menyambungkan diri dengan Dzat Yang Maha Segalanya. Hendaknya bisa kita
manfaatkan secara optimal dan sebaik-baiknya.
