waktu ini memiliki fungsi-fungsi berbeda dalam faedahnya. Waktu-waktu
tersebut adalah:
1. Sebelum Tidur
Yang menjadi penegas hal ini adalah sebuah hadits yang diriwayatkan oleh
Bukhari. Pada hadits tersebut, diceritakan bahwa nabi Muhammad SAW
selalu membaca surat Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, dan surat An-Nas. Hal ini
beliau lakukan sebanyak tiga kali.
2. Saat Shalat Witir Tiga Raka’at
Berdasarkan hadits yang diriwayatkan oleh Ahmad, Tirmidzi, dan An Nasai,
ternyata Nabi Muhammad SAW membaca surat Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, dan
An-Nas di rakaat terakhir ketika beliau melaksanakan shalat witir.
3. Ketika Shalat Maghrib di Malam Jum’at
Waktu membaca Al-Ikhlas yang dianjurkan selanjutnya ada pada malam
Jum’at. Menurut hadits shahih riwayat Al Albani, nabi biasa membaca
surat Al-Ikhlas ketika beliau melakukan shalat maghrib di kamis malam.
4. Shalat Dua Raka’at Saat Setelah Thowaf di Belakang Makan Nabi Ibrahim
Hal ini disebutkan oleh Syaikh Al Albani dalam buku Hajjatun Nabi,
dimana dijelaskan bahwa ketika beliau ada di makam nabi Ibrahim, beliau
akan membaca surat Al-Ikhlas saat shalat.
5. Ketika Sedang Melakukan Shalat Sunnah Ba’diyah Maghrib
Hadits riwayat tirmidzi menuliskan bahwa sudah tak terhitung lagi waktu
Nabi Muhammad membaca Al-Ikhlas ketika sedang shalat sunnah ba’diyah
Maghrib.
6. Seusai Shalat (Setelah Melakukan Salam)
Surat Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, dan An-Nas dianjurkan oleh nabi Muhammad
untuk dibaca seusai shalat. Hal ini ada pada hadits riwayat An Nasai dan
Abu Daud.
7. Saat Melakukan Qobliyah Subuh
Hadits shahih yang diriwayatkan Ibnu Khuzaimah mengatakan bahwa Nabi
Muhammad bersabda, sesungguhnya surat terbaik untuk dibaca saat qobliyah
subuh adalah Al-Ikhlas.
8. Saat Mau Melakukan Ruqyah
Aisyah berkata lewat hadits yang diriwayatkan Bukhari bahwa sebelum
mengobati seseorang, Nabi Muhammad akan membacakan Al-Ikhlas, An-Nas,
dan Al-Falaq.
9. Ketika Pagi dan Sore Hari
Hadits hasan yang diriwayatkan oleh An Nasai dan Abu Daud menceritakan
tentang bagaimana Nabi menyarankan ummatnya membaca Al-Ikhlas untuk
menjaga mereka dari hal buruk.
Memang sebenarnya membaca surat Al-Ikhlas tidak hanya boleh dilakukan
pada waktu-waktu itu saja, melainkan boleh kapan saja dan dimana saja.
