Fakta Ilmiah
Menurut ulama dan ilmuwan, daging babi dapat melemahkan daya tahan tubuh dan rentan penyakit. Sebuah restoran yang sehat adalah restoran yang sama sekali tidak tersentuh oleh berbagai unsur daging babi. Siapa pun yang terbiasa mengkonsumsi daging babi ini maka ia akan menanggung dosa di kemudian hari. Para ulama menegaskan bahwa siapa pun yang mengkonsumsi daging hewan pemangsa, ia cenderung bertabiat kasar dan selalu berbuat jahat.
Sejumlah penelitian medis ilmiah telah menetapkan bahwa babi – dibandingkan semua jenis hewan yang ada- termasuk daging yang mengandung bahan berbahaya bagi tubuh manusia. Di antara penyakit yang muncul karena memakan babi adalah sebagai berikut:
- Penyakit parasit. Di antaranya adalah berkembangnya cacing spiral (termasuk cacing yang paing berbahaya bagi manusia). Semua daging babi pasti mengandung cacing ini. Biasanya cacing ini berkumpul dalam otot-otot, maka orang yang memakan daging babi bisa menderita sakit yang luar biasa dan bisa menyerang diafragma sehingga menyebabkan nafas terhenti, kemudian mati.
- Cacing pita. Cacing pita memilki panjang hingga 10 kaki. Cacing ini bisa menyebabkan perut kejang-kejang dan darah rendah. Juga bisa menyebabkan adanya cacing di otak orang yang memakannya, begitu juga di dalam daging, hati, paru-paru, jeroan daging, dan lainnya.
- Cacing scars. Cacing jenis ini bisa menyebabkan disfungsi pada paru-paru dan penyakit komplikasi pada pencernaan.
- Cacing Engcalostoma, Balharesia, Dosentaria. Cacing–cacing jenis ini bisa menyebabkan leukimia, pendarahan, dan penyakit lainnya yang bisa menyebabkan kematian.
- Cacing jenis lainnya yang ada di dalam babi yang jumlahnya lebih dari 30 jenis dan bervariasi tingkat bahayanya
